主要从事儿童消化感染性疾病诊疗，以及肠道微生态与肠道免疫研究。2013年率先开展儿童粪菌移植（FMT），成功完成了全国首例儿童FMT治疗儿童重症伪膜性肠炎，并建立儿童FMT治疗规范，提高儿童艰难梭菌感染的治愈率。为FMT治疗儿童艰难梭菌感染提供重要循证医学证据。2016年建立上海首个公益性母乳库，有效降低了本院早产儿坏死性小肠结肠炎的发生率，获得母乳益生菌国家发明专利1项。经过多年对于肠道菌群、FMT及儿童疾病关系的临床与科研实践，2013年至今主持各级项目38项，国家自然科学基金2项，包括多项省部级、局级项目。已发表科研论文166篇，其中SCI收录论文92篇，总SCI影响因子达342分。参编著作9部。包括：Microb Cell Fact, J Transl Med,Am J Pathol, J Leuko Biol, Sci Rep和J Crohns Colitis等。 近5年发表论文列表： 1.
