参加系列中国精神科量表的引进、全国常模和编制；参加《中国精神障碍分类与诊断标准》三次的全国性现场测试并编制第二版、第二版修订版和第三版；主持国家级、省部级科研项目23项，包括国家科技部十五、十一五、卫生行业专项，国家重点研发项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目、上海市科委、上海市申康中心、上海市卫健委等。获铁道部、上海市科技成果奖项21项。担任《中国抑郁障碍防治指南》（第三版）、《中国焦虑障碍防治指南》（第一、第二版）、《中国失眠症防治指南》（第一版）、《中国精神分裂症防治指南》（第二、三版）、《中国注意缺陷多动障碍防治指南》（第一、二版）、《中国青少年抑郁障碍中西医结合防治指南》、《中医抑郁症防治指南》等编委。入选上海市重中之重临床重点学科带头人和上海市临床重点专科带头人。获发明创造专利3项。专利包括：（1）“一种基于面孔表情识别磁共振成像的精神分裂症早期诊断模型及其应用”，专利号CN201811269628.6；（2）“一种基于极端梯度提升算法的精神病高危识别模型”，专利号CN201911173416.2；（3）“预警方法及装置”，专利号CN201310041101.9。主编、副主编专著10部，参编80余部。专著包括：（1）《精神疾病药物临床试验设计与实施》，人民卫生出版社，副主编；（2）《精神病学第4版》，北京大学医学出版社，副主编；（3）《性功能障碍与性心理障碍》，人民卫生出版社，主编。发表论文450余篇，SCI近100篇。重要论文：（1）Zhang T, Xu L, Tang Y, et al.
